COOK ON ANY STOVETOP
Stove Compatibility
Gourmetific cookware bodies are designed to work safely and efficiently on all common stovetops, including gas, electric, ceramic, and induction cooktops. The die-cast aluminum construction combined with a 4.5 mm thick base ensures stable contact, even heat distribution, and consistent cooking results across different heat sources.
The flat, reinforced base allows full surface contact on induction cooktops, while also preventing wobbling or hot spots on gas and electric stoves. This design helps reduce uneven heating, improves energy efficiency, and supports low-to-medium heat cooking for everyday use.
- Gas stovetop compatible
- Electric & ceramic stovetops supported
- Induction compatible flat base
- Stable contact, no wobbling
Safety & Usage
Oven Compatibility
Gourmetific cookware is designed to support stove-to-oven cooking when used correctly. Understanding which components are oven safe and which must be removed is essential for safe use and long-term durability.
- Cookware body is oven safe up to 300°C (572°F)
The aluminum cookware body can safely be used in the oven within this temperature range.
- Detachable handle must be removed before oven use
The handle contains bakelite and silicone components that are not designed for oven temperatures.
- Glass lids are not oven safe
The silicone ring and construction of the glass lid cannot withstand high oven heat.
Before placing cookware in the oven, always remove the detachable handle and glass lid. This allows you to safely finish dishes in the oven without exposing heat-sensitive components to excessive temperatures.
Always use oven mitts when handling cookware removed from the oven. Cookware bodies retain heat for an extended period after oven use.
Common Oven Use Mistakes to Avoid
- Placing cookware in the oven with the handle attached
- Using glass lids inside the oven
- Exceeding the maximum recommended temperature
- Removing hot cookware without protective gloves
EASY CLEAN
Dishwasher Compatibility
Gourmetific cookware bodies can be cleaned in the dishwasher. However, for maintaining optimal non-stick coating performance and surface appearance over time, hand washing is recommended.
Dishwasher detergents are typically more abrasive than hand-washing soaps, and repeated dishwasher cycles can gradually affect the non-stick surface and exterior finish. While occasional dishwasher use will not cause immediate damage, frequent use may shorten the lifespan of the coating.
For best results, allow cookware to cool before washing and avoid overcrowding the dishwasher to prevent surface contact or chipping.
NOT ALLOWED
Microwave Use
Gourmetific cookware is not microwave safe due to its metal construction. Aluminum cookware bodies are not designed for microwave use and should never be placed inside a microwave oven.
Microwaves heat food using electromagnetic waves, which interact dangerously with metal surfaces. Placing metal cookware in a microwave can cause sparking, uneven heating, or damage to both the appliance and the cookware.
For reheating food, transfer contents to a microwave-safe glass or ceramic container before placing it in the microwave.
